Eye Love:Chanel’s Metallic Eye

Peter Philips doing his magic, backstage at the Chanel Spring/ Summer 2012 show in Paris

Aside from the stunning clothes, beautiful setting (and that perfect for summer hoola bag) that Karl Lagarfeld showcased for Chanel Spring/ summer 2013 last Paris Fashion Week, another thing which really caught my attention is the eye make-up that Chanel Make-Up’s creative director, Peter Philips gave the models. For the metallic ‘shine’ on the eyes Philips did a full cover layer of Illusion d’Ombre eye shadow but if you’re looking for a cheaper one to copy the style for the coming SS2013 you can use MAC Silver Ring Eye Shadow , Estee Lauder Estee Lauder Pure Color Eye Shadow – 33 Silver Ball and Lancome Ombre Absolue Radiant Smoothing Eye Shadow – G15 Silver Shines. they’re cheaper for like about $5.00-$15.00 so i must say that it’s a great way to copy the style in a frugalista way.
